A Visit To Bell Town TN

Bell Town is a little wide spot in the road on Hwy. 70 between Pegram and White Bluff in the western portion of Middle Tennessee. I really don’t know much more than that about the area.  I was taking an afternoon drive (looking for an old abandoned roller rink I had heard of) and ran across these two buildings.  One was obviously and old market and next to it an old two story home.  Leave a comment and let me know what you think.

This old house sets practically on top of the store, a path maybe 2 feet wide separates the two buildings. I have to admit that this house “spooked” me a bit, with it’s broken windows and rotted floors.  I really wanted to try and get inside and look around but in that I was alone on this trip and parts of the visible flooring had fallen in I decided it best to just peek in from the outside.

I kept expecting to see a face in these windows ….
